Boxercise coming in September 2017

Boxercise is coming to the Samurai Karate Hout Bay Dojo

The Samurai Karate dojo is starting boxercise classes in September 2017.  Boxercise classes will be aimed at getting the whole family to train together.   Sensei John Shaw used to be a champion boxer in his youth and now he has created an training programme that includes boxing, self defence and fitness drills to help tone the body, lose weight and improve your health in general.
Sessions will be very similar to ” Thai Bo ” type training.  Kickboxing combinations as well as self defnece drills will be taught to improve all defensive skills and lots of impact training to experience the power of your kicks and punches. There will be lots of bag work, punching pads and mitts will be used.  We will also include exercising to music periodically. This adds the fun when working out.
Come and join us at the Samurai Karate Hout Bay Dojo with the whole family and enjoy traing together.  R100 p/person per class.  Our classes will be every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6.15pm to 7.15pm
